new signs state that there is no overnight parking allowed.

Report Check-In

The other pull off had "no parking" signs so I moved to this one, was great for the first couple hours, but about midnight, a possibility intoxicated person pulled up, started honking their horn, and yelling, then proceeded to start mowing the gravel beside the road, with a gas powered push mower. Needless to say, I did not stay after that.

Report Check-In

Parked at night and almost immediately two men pulled up in a pick up, started honking and howling and started ridding a lawnmower toward our skoolie. Idk if they were under the influence or just pranking, but we left immediately and i wouldnt recommended the spot.

Report Check-In

Stayed just a bit further up the road. Several pull offs. Looks like some full time campers further up the road as well. A bit rough looking. Good spot for the day. We stayed overnight and were kept up late by some shady folks walking up and down the road. We survived.

Report Check-In

Spent about 12hrs overnight here enruite to San Francisco. As indicated by others, numerous pull-outs along this road, mostly used by people residing here. Easy access to freeway. Perfect for what I needed.

Report Check-In

We stayed in one of the pull outs along this road between the highway and Russian River campground for two nights. Plenty of space along the way. There are definitely people living here full time. Forty-five minutes ish from Calistoga. Decent AT&T signal here.

Report Check-In

pull off by the river.
When all other spots were posted with no overnight parking or camping, this place was ideal. However if you just want to fork out over 100 dollars you could go about 500 yards down the road to an RV park.

Report Check-In

Pull off of 101 late at night. A bit noisy from the main road. Ok for an emergency stop but amid the vinyards etc we worry we may get moved on.
