Description
Great spot (Forest Rd). Several vans, a Skoolie, but quiet & easy to get to. 2 porta-potties near the entrance. 2 bars LTE so we won’t be streaming anything tonight, but other than that, quiet & beautiful! Sign at lot entrance says camping ok & called “Surprise” :)

Dispersed campground in an open area without any shade. Nice spot, many spot available but fill up quick at night. You should come early.
Report Check-InA large spot, plenty of room for many vehicles. The terrain is pretty uneven - looks like dried mud after a heavy rainfall. So drive slow.
We were lucky to wake up to a bunch of hotair baloons take off right in front of our RV.

Beautiful place to spend the night when you’re visiting Sedona! Camping is permitted here. No campfire.
Felt really safe. There was a lot of other campers tonight. 2 bar LTE. Chemical toilet available. Beautiful sunset and sunrise!!!! Would stay there again.
Report Check-InThere is a sign stating this is an approved campsite on this road. Lots of space for RVs. Dirt road leading in. Could be muddy if rained recently.
Report Check-Inroad to access authorized camping site has pot holes and washboard, drive slowly. Site was muddy because of the rain all day.

Cockscomb site a little way in maybe 10-15 mins Lovely sunrise and view of three hot air balloons floating in the blue sky! Definitely will come back !
Followed another nomad to this spot! Great parking. Great site. Other campers. Feels safe! Great views
