Latest Check-Ins

Stayed just one night. Didnt get the full views as it was so foggy but felt safe with one other camper in the lot. No bathrooms.

Report Check-In

pulled in here about 4pm. rainy and foggy day, which made the overlook into the ocean below quite beautiful. at night only two other cars came in to get some rest. great place, a little off the highway. there is a lot of trash and used toilet paper under the big tree in the corner, which is a shame because it's a spectacular old tree

Report Check-In

Big parking lot at the Vista Point. No signage at all. Great view on the ocean and above #1. so the traffic noise should be ok. We didn‘t stay here as we just started the day. No beach access as it high above the ocean.

Report Check-In

huge paved lot away from the highway, one rv there when we arrived. amazing views and no no signs. we didn't stay the night but looked like a perfect spot

Report Check-In

Stayed here one night. We were the only ones there. Very quiet. Some road noise in the morning. Poor cell service. No restrooms. No trash. No signs. Just a view. Sounds of coyotes at night.

Report Check-In

Un endroit parfait pour se reposer une nuit entière. Grand stationnement et super vue sur le pacifique. Un beau dodo au son des vagues!

Report Check-In

Comme décrit dans les commentaires. Nous sommes arrivés tard (19h) et il y avait déjà 4 VR. Ce qui rassure ma conjointe.

Report Check-In

Perfect for a one-night stand. Nice level parking spot off the road, so very limited traffic noise. Only one other camper on a Friday night. Limited Verizon. Clear sky for Starlink. Foggy morning.

Report Check-In

As previously reported a nice and quiet little spot right next to the ocean. It is just a parking lot but welcome in this area with limited free spots.

Report Check-In

I was the only overnighter. Lots pulled up for photos, no one stayed the night. Lovely view.

Report Check-In

Slept here no problem! Quiet. Off the hwy enough to where you don’t hear it and can hear the ocean instead. Amazing views.

Report Check-In

Mostly flat, paved parking lot overlooking the Pacific. Plenty of room for any size rig, although we had the whole place to ourselves last night. Beautiful sunset. Several carsful of people showed up to watch it, then left. Quiet and peaceful night.

Report Check-In

fantastic overnight place for any vehicle any size! beautiful views, ground is paved and level and just a off the road for some privacy and little noise. indeed hard to believe this is legal, but we were not bothered at all. there was another RV on the parking lot with us. it just looks like a nice rest stop and sure beats a pull-out next to the road or overpriced campground. if you park in the back no one can see you from further on the road either. we expected the worst but it looked clean, no toiletpaper, glass, trash, or any other unnecessary nonsense. let's keep it that way people, so that others can also enjoy this nice calm boondock place! if you need to poo that bad there is a public restroom right across the library in Point Arena.

Report Check-In

Nice, quiet spot for the night. I was the only one there, other than 3 empty cars that got picked up in the morning. Almost no road noise at night. I got 0-2 spotty bars of at&t. It wasn't reliable, but better than nothing. There's lots of...toilet paper and poop, so watch where you step if you go off the pavement.

Report Check-In

Excellent endroit pour passer la nuit qui a été très calme. Et au petit matin, superbe point de vue sur l’océan

Report Check-In

wow shocked this is allowed... great spot!
no Verizon which was a bummer. definitely no toilets either and jt shows.. ewww. don't park by the big tree that's the toilet.

Report Check-In

Good, quiet place for overnight. Still no "no-signs" in April 2022. 4 other Campers stayed with us.

Report Check-In

Giant paved parking lot. Beautiful spot to spend the night and watch the sun set. No signs restricting overnight parking/Camping. No facilities and no cell service with T-mobile or Verizon.

Report Check-In

Great spot. We didn't stay because we hit it at 11am but we certainly would. as others have said it is a short drive off hwy 1 so would be less road noise and the roar of the ocean probably hides that.
Was foggy when we were here but the view is spectacular.

Report Check-In

We arrived shortly after sunset and three other cars/trucks were there. We slept good and in the morning we were able to see the pretty view. ** picked up 2 lbs of other peoples toilet paper! Women and men I guess PLEASE! take your trash with you!! The parking lot was lined with pee wipes 🤢
Take it with you! Or better yet invest in a Kula Cloth or bandana. And if everyone took 5 minutes to walk the area and pick of trash it would make the world a better place. Even if it’s not your.

Report Check-In

Seems like a good place to crash. No signs saying not to, off the main hwy and beautiful views. I’m headed to pt arena so haven’t tried sleeping here but…

Report Check-In

Beautiful view. I’m always a little nervous sleeping super near the ocean or on smaller pull offs near cliffs, but this spot was awesome. Giant parking lot overlooking the ocean. It would totally work for bigger rigs as well.

Report Check-In

Amazing spot, beautiful view. Traffic was very light at night, and the sound of the ocean overpowered it anyways.

Report Check-In

large area could accommodate all size rigs. on the ocean side of the road but it's an actual drive to the Vista point so you are not in the side of the road. no 'no signs' Verizon has signal but slow connection. minimal noise from 1 due to being offset from the road. didn't stay. but checked it out.

Report Check-In

A beautiful view spot with no no overnight parking/camping signs. Stayed there and watched the sunset and ended up spending the night. There was one other person staying (sleeping in a minivan). The north side of the parking lot is the flattest. However just down the hill is super trashed. Might not be long before signs go up

Report Check-In

Wow très belle place beaucoup d’espace et assez loin de la route je n’ai pas couché ici mais avoir su

Report Check-In

Nice place we are alone . No sign over no overnight .

Report Check-In

We stayed one night with other campers, it’s an amazing spot! Please keep it clean :)

Report Check-In

We were staying a night here, several travelers more. Excellent view and sound of the sea. Wonderful sunset.

Report Check-In

Vista point is up the hill out of view from the highway. parked near the back corner to keep a low profile. kept quiet and nobody bothered us. no facilities. spotty T mobile service

Report Check-In

Good space, just off the road but not visible to passing cars. No bathrooms but there’s adequate bush coverage on the north end. There are no signs forbidding overnight camping. No water sources and it didn’t look easy to get down to the coast from the lot.

Report Check-In

Paved pullout not far off hwy 1. No facilities but brilliant views.

Report Check-In

No signs. Great place for a lunch stop. Plenty of room for big RVs

Report Check-In

Beautiful Vista point with no signs specifically forbidding camping.
