Lovely Place. Quiet, under the trees and hide from the road. Right next to the river, and without mosquitoes! When you arrive from Zapala 100m after the bridge there is a path to get off near the river. super quiet we were really safe
lovely place. Au calme, sous les arbres et cacher de la route. Juste à côté de la rivière, et sans moustiques ! quand vous arrivez de Zapala 100m après le pont il y a un chemin pour descendre près de la rivière. super tranquille on était vraiment en sécurité
Report Check-InGood for stopping for lunch. There is a small dirt road before the bridge (west side) to access the river. Place dirty with all the trash people left behind though.
Report Check-InHow can a spot less than 100 m from ruta 40 be very quiet and peaceful? It’s not. In high season also a lot of rubbish around despite the bin. We had no alternative - this is the reason why we stood here.
Big rigs can take the access road from ruta 40 / about 300 m from the bridge and park right there, but also not nice.
Great spot for the night. Next to the river with trees to provide shelter. Quiet and relaxing.
Report Check-InGood spot for a night. We hadn't any problems. We drove here with our vw t3 van.
Report Check-InJust after passing the very narrow bridge heading towards Junin, take the 180 degree right turn into a gravel road leading to a very quiet and peaceful grassy riverside camping spot with plenty of shade and unofficial firepits. There were fishermen there in the morning but it was fairly quiet at night and provided decent shelter from the wind. No toilet but there is a garbage can at the site.
