As mentioned, it is not a RV park, but a big parking lot. You have to contribute with 200 pesos in cleaning supplies (they won’t accept cash, you have to bring the products) per car (is not per day! We stayed for 2 nights). The guy who received us was very friendly. Police is here 24h, I think is because the parking lot is very close by a big soccer stadium. Felt safe. We went for a run in the park where the parking lot is and had no problems. We didn’t use, but the guy how works here said that there is water, electricity and restrooms. Considering is a city, I do recommend the place. Is not great, but is good enough!

This place is great, However there was some confusion with the protocol. Here’s the deal: it’s a Municipal lot where they allow overlanders to stay in exchange for a donation of cleaning/maintenance supplies. They will not take money. When you show up you must register at the office. If you arrive very late, go to the office next morning. They can arrange for electricity and you can dump and fill water.
I spent 4 nights here, there is a beautiful river walk/park and they have police security 24/7!
Monterrey and surrounding areas are beautiful!

This is not a RV park, just a car park where it appears groups of RVers make arrangements to stay. From my limited Spanish I understood that the one large RV when I was there was leading a group arriving the following day. Following a discussion with the police I was allowed to stay overnight but I do not feel that this is a spot one can rely on.
