Something not right?

Description

Was told that this was BLM and there is dispersed camping along this road. A few bars of cell service and a quiet spot right next to Bryce Canyon.

Report Check-In

As described, lots of dispersed sites. They fill up fast, level spots but most of the level part of the spot is in the shade, so if you want sun for solar prepare to tilt!

One of many dispersed campsites on this loop. I believe I’m in the first one. Just left past the “no camping” signs. Dirt road drive in, large, grassy spots that was easy to get in and out. There was a cold snap in the area, so not super crowded. Accessible via 2WD when dry. I could see rain making the entrance road super muddy, but might still be 2WD’able. Fire ring and relatively flat. I was towing a 28’ Airstream and didn’t have to level side to side at all! Winning. Dogs had lots of room to roam and it felt like I had the place to myself despite there being another camper up the road. Recommend this spot. Going to try and get up the road to investigate later and will share more if helpful.

This appears to be a loop or two of established dispersed camping with fairly clearly marked “no camping” at the entrance. Once you make the turn to the left, you’ll get past these and the camp sites start. I took what I believe is the first one. Very open and spacious. Very flat as well. I was towing a 28’ Airstream trailer. If it was raining/wet, it would be a muddy road in, but accessible with 2WD when dry. I’m going to explore campsites further back later today and will report back if I can.

road still closed as of today - April 22

Report Check-In

Roads were still closed this time of year.

Report Check-In

The two roads to get to all these BLM was blocked by snow when we tried to go. Did not try and went to the forest north west of brice. Maybe doable but did not bother with our heavy 2wd rig

Spent a very cold but peaceful night at site nr 1. In the morning some deer between the trees. Very close to Bryce Np entrance!

Report Check-In

Keep driving down the road for a big lot if the individual ones are taken.
Dirt road but easy

Super endroit pour dormir. Au calme au milieu de la forêt et à 5min de l’entrée du parc !
Nous y avons dormi 2 nuits.
Je recommande vivement !
