Description

There is a big gravel field next to the rest area. We stayed for one night. It was loud with all the trains and many mozzies hanging out. Otherwise no problems

Actually the rest area has a gate with a sign on it that says "Gate closes at 9pm"...

Right across there's a gravel parking lot

Yes the rail road track goes along the gravel parking lot as well as the rest area

Petit parking avec 4 places, toilette sur place.
Effectivement il y a le train juste à côté. 4 trains sont passés dans la nuit, ils font ÉNORMÉMENT de bruit ..

Small car park with 4 spaces, toilet on site.
Indeed there is the train right next to it. 4 trains passed in the night, they make a lot of noise..

Slept here for one night in the gravel pit across the rest area. I don’t recommend this spot, it was super loud and noisy as its right beside a train track and a highway. The train was the main issue as it operated all night long with the train horn blasting. I’ve slept near busy highways and it’s fine but the train noise was atrocious, didn’t get a wink of sleep in. You’re better off driving to Revelstoke rest area and sleeping there.

ancien centre d information qui est fermée. Bonne place pour une nuit sauf que l on est entre le chemin et le train donc assez bruyant
