Lovely spot. It doesn’t look like much when entering it. But it’s very nice and quiet.
Report Check-InI'm on a fall foliage roadtrip and this campground showed up at my self-imposed 3PM stop driving time. There are 8 well spaced sites, all close to the Rio Grande river. This is also 9 miles away from Creede. Being the only one here so far, I now own several acres of nice Colorado real estate! This campground is about 1 mile of dirt road from the highway.
Report Check-InNice small campground by the river. clean toilet but no tp! on a Monday night all 5 sites by the river occupied, the 2 spots by the bathroom available but on the slope. cold at night. partly shady. still free!

Report Check-InGreat spot on the Rio Grande river. Caught three brown trout fly fishing Colorado for the first time. Only one other camper the two nights we were there. Slot 7 is the most secluded spot at the end. Great place if you have dogs.
Report Check-InGorgeous free site, right on the Rio Grande - I’m the only one here, no idea why - the fee paying sites along the way looked packed. Pump water is not ‘on’ but pit toilets are the cleanest i have ever seen.
Report Check-Inwonderful river site. pleanty of water if you have a filter, and great trout fishing as well. also, any notice of fee or donation has been removed. it's 100% free but still a 14 day limited stay
