Awesome campground if you are a beach lover! Staff was super friendly. Campground and sites are well kept and clean. The sites are spread out everywhere and you just kind of choose a spot that you like. Tent sites are first come first serve but there are a ton of sites. We stayed here two separate weeks in September. One week for five days and the next week for 3 days. $25 for a tent site. One shower stall in each bathroom with hot water and a lot of outdoor showers with cold water. There are tons of trails to the beach, from the campground sites, and it is beautiful. It is super dog friendly. If love dogs you will not mind the two or three that roam the beach and campground daily. The dogs are super friendly. Lots of other off leash dogs as well from other campers. We had no issues with our doggo nor the other dogs. All well behaved and well trained. If don’t have a well trained dog I recommend leashing him/her up while you stay. If you do not have a friendly dog or not a dog lover I would recommend looking to camp elsewhere. Everyone we met was super friendly. We loved it and will return again!

Great campground at the edge of the world.
Plenty of room even in late July.

worst experience! gun blasts & fire works all night. wth. bathroom is a mess. people have no respect for others. it's not holiday. it's Aug 21.

no real designated sites. there are picnic tables & Fire pits. seeing lots of wind surfer equipment. beautiful weather for it.

Nice little park but expensive ($50 a night) when you consider the recreation pass (which everyone must purchase) has gone up to $20 for the calendar year. We camped at the On-Beach full hookups site next to the rental cabins. Decent (but not great) bathrooms and small rv lots. Each has a picnic table and a fire ring. The view of the ocean is unspoiled and is classic Pacific Northwest views, with seastacks, rocky shoals and pine trees all the way to the beach and cliffs. If we were Washington residents or had spent more time to explore the Makah & Cape Flattery area, we would visit this place again. But the $20 recreation pass on top of the $50 RV site fee was cost prohibitive.

The price is $25/vehicle dry camping ($10 additional vehicle), $40/vehicle w/electric. (I paid $25 to dry camp in my Sprinter “RV”.)

I also don’t normally pay to park and sleep, but did so out of respect for the Makah First Nations Tribe whose land includes Neah Bay.

Although it’s advertised to be right “on” the beach, don’t expect an ocean view! Instead, there is a wind break of trees which protects when it’s windy!

Facilities are just okay, could use some TLC (shower head broken in the women’s bathroom, garbage bins overflowing). Little things make all the difference!

P.S. the Makah Museum (which will be on your left just as you enter town) is WELL worth a visit if you enjoy learning about history and culture. World class.

$25 for vehicles, 40 for RV. Right next to the beach! I cracked a window for those ocean sounds to calm in. Shower available and WiFi was only good near to the bathrooms. Super random grass/road/ wherever you want parking. It’s a cool spot. Close to cape flattery..also there’s a bald eagle feeding location at the marina there

As described - solid camping with dry ($25) and wet ($40) options (both require $10 Makah Recreation Pass for each vehicle).

The vibe was very relaxed when we were here and it wasn't too crowded (on a Wednesday). I'm sure it gets more crowded on busy weekends, but it's hard to not like this place when you can camp right behind the ocean. Portapotties are clean, there's supposedly Wi-Fi (it didn't reach where we parked) and cell service (Verizon) was great.

We prefer to not go places where we need to pay for camping, but this was a worthy exception.
