Nice little flat spot just off Magusi Road and next to Holloway Lake, not far off Highway 101. Definitely some traffic noise and not much privacy, but there are several pullouts on both sides of the road not far past the lake if you are seeking a spot of your own. The lake has a few small access trails if you want to kayak or canoe. Bit buggy, especially noseeums, so wear long pants at dusk and dawn.
Report Check-InJust wanted to add that I spent a perfect overnight in July 2024. Spoke with 2 different security personnel and we are more than welcomed, they love having campers stay. They even quietly patrol overnight for a very restful, quiet sleep.
Report Check-InJ'y suis arrivé tôt,18h30, veille du jour du travail. Sprinter 23 pieds. Le chemin est public, l'endroit peut recevoir deux ou trois van maximum. En plus du coucher de soleil, nous avons fait un feu en attendant les aurores boréales qui ne sont jamais apparu. Pas d'ours, mais de petites mouche à cheval qui repartaient avec un morceau de viandes. Nous avons eux la visites d'un gardien de sécurité le lendemain matin. Homme aussi cheveux gris très sympathique. Belle jasette, pas de trouble à dormir là pour lui. Bref, pour une nuit, c'est super. (j'avais un chien sans laisse)
Report Check-InGreat site just as described. Good cell coverage, no one around. Pulled in at 9:30pm and mosquitoes were really bad. Went right to bed so not a problem. Good stop on way to Quebec
Report Check-InWonderful location - very little noise at night from traffic - beautiful lake view - flat site - enjoyed a nice dinner and a sunset - spotted a black bear 2klm from the site on the Highway 2 - very curious adolescent black bear - we slept with out bear spray nearby -
Report Check-InIt's not every night you get to sleep on a gold mine. A security guard came to check the premises in the early evening so we asked if it would be ok to park here for the night. We were relieved to hear a hearty "Yes, that's fine!"
Very quiet night as there is not much traffic on nearby 101 and the pull off is comfortably far enough away from the highway. Due to many wildfires in Quebec and Ontario we were plagued with very smoky air. Fortunately no mosquitoes. Excellent cell service. Beautiful sunset.
