Description

Very nice campground about 8 km of of the Trans Canada Highway in Maple Creek. $25 for unserviced site. The manager delivered us a fire pit. Wonderful free shower. Picnic table. Large site. There is a train nearby that makes some noise but we slept well here. Take highway 21 north off of Hwy 1.

Latest Check-Ins

At this time of the year is quite, it seems only road workers around in RVs. We stayed in our car for 25$, nice owners, warm shower, wifi good enough to chat and use IG. Very clean and well prepared! There are trains passing by and using the horn right in the entrence of the camping. Used ear plugs and all good :)

Cute campground, new owner (bought the campground 8 days ago), very kind and helpful, laundry not available yet but coming soon (don’t know exactly when, but there’s a laundry downtown, 5min walk), tents are $20 for 1 person and every other person is +$5, showers and bathrooms are super clean, you can hear the trains but we weren’t annoyed by them
maple creek is a cute little town with a brewery, a winery and some more attractions, but not much to do for a longer stay
We would definitely stay here again!
Highly recommend for one or two nights

Lovely place- I was offered $45/night for a full service site and $35/night if I only used electricity. Tent sites also, not sure that price or price for no hookups at all. Wifi is not great but that’s fine. Train passes by every once in a while but that’s also fine. Clean sites and bathrooms. Nice staff. Quiet. Staff brought over a picnic table. Fire ban in effect when I was here but they say they have propane fire pits people can use instead of the wood fire pits, but I didn’t need or use that service. Overall nice place!
