super quiet, a park ranger may drive up and check things out but didn't bother us or speak to us. the gravel road goes way up the mountain with steep drop offs, so absolutely no RVs or long buses can fit up here. vans and truck campers can definitely fit.I got around 3 bars of LTE service up here. just take it slow going up the road because it can be sketchy, but the roads are well maintained and we didn't encounter any pot holes. there is a pit toilet but it's kinda messy so use at your own risk good for emergencies, there is flowing water down behind the picnic shelter. 10/10 beautiful and quiet at night, connection to the Appalachian trail is also at this place but it is a 2 mile hike to get to the actual trail. remember to pack it in and pack it out as there are no garbage cans or bear cans.
Report Check-InQuiet spot at end of the road by several trail heads. Pit toilets and a nice pavilion shelter. Gravel parking lot. Road well maintained to get here!
