During the week I had the place mostly to myself, through there was some motorcycle noise in the evening and the morning around 8. The price is 10 dollars a night. There are decent pit toilets, garbage and recycling bins, and one bar of Verizon and T-mobile. I was able to watch YouTube. First come, first served, and you can arrive at night after the manned kiosk closes and pay the next day on the way out. The road in is well paved to Edison Campground and only a bit hilly. The road to the campgrounds beyond that point to the other campgrounds is patchy paved and doable for most vehicles, I would think.

Many of the trails run right by this campsite. when we arrived the campgrounds were full and noisy, cold and windy. We decided to turn around and camp elsewhere. The ranger said she couldn't give us a refund. Oh well.
