Description
Good size campground right off I-40 (and I mean right off the highway). Nice fully fenced park with lots of grass area to walk the dogs and a fenced dog park for small and large dogs. Playground with lots of space to roam; horseshoes; cornhole; basketball; and live Buffalo! Highway traffic can be heard and there was a helicopter scanning the highway with a search light for an hour at a car show/street racing, but I imagine that’s not a regular thing. We arrived at 8pm and the office was still open until 9! Easy gravel site with shade trees and not super close to neighbor. It appears to have many long term residents and many people walking with dogs at all times of day.

Highly recommend! Gal at the front desk is super friendly. We stayed at a friend's ranch this time but we just could not find water at any of the gas stations. She let us fill our tank. Good people here.
