Description
On the east side of Hungry Horse Reservoir. Nice place. 26 sites water and pit toilets. $9.00 for us as we have the 'America The Beautiful' pass. Tall pines and nice gravel parking that is often somewhat unlevel. We found a flat spot above the lake. Mosquitos are bad close to the lake. Fewer up here. There are reputedly bears in the area so bear-proof food storage boxes are in between sites. They recommend having bear spray or a firearm. The camp host, however said they hadn’t seen any.
