this rest stop is posted as 20 minutes stays only and a no overnight camping, but i pulled in with the transport trucks and stayed all night with no issues. Clean restrooms with hot water, vending machines and quiet. Good place to stop for a rest
Report Check-InIoverlander has it set as a rest area but it's actually an established campground. Its called Mystic Valley Campground. Its independently owned, they have 30 spots, some RV, some tent, and a couple "glamping" (a 6 person tent yurt with an air mattress, couch, bedding, mini fridge, sink). They have showers, bathrooms, and running water. There's a pond at the end of the site that makes the mosquitoes kind of hell and they're within ear shot of the freeway but it's not too bad at night.
The place is a bit dated but much cheaper than the KOA up the road. The owners are nice people.
