Only space for one vehicle, about 3m wide on cliff, check to see if another vehicle is coming before making the drive around the mountain, not sure why this isn’t listed, especially for wider cars. Photo attached.

This part of road is DEFINITELY NOTHING for bigger Trucks at the moment!!! We are now travelling eleven year's all over the American continent and today we used this way (no road anymore) with our 9t motorhome, 7m long, 2,4m wide and 3,4m high and we were afraid to lost our truck and our live at two small parts of the road.
Report Check-InAfter the viaduct the Ruta 40 is due to heavy rainfalls washed out. You have to cross several times the river. While that you have to dare to drive with high declination.
It‘s a demanding ride but doable. Very scenic drive. We did it with our Jeep Rubicon.
