Free parking. I stayed here on Rue Berri for three nights. It’s a busy road, with flashing traffic lights on it’s junction with Rue Roy and quite a bit of foot traffic in the morning/day time, but I slept well regardless.
Attached pic of the parking sign. Currently you would just have to move somewhere else between 8:30-9:30am on a Friday.
There is a bus station (Gare d'autocars de Montréal) an 8 minute walk away which has nice clean restrooms and benches with electrical sockets if you need to charge phones. It is open 24hours.
Old Montreal is about a 25-30 minute walk.
