Latest Check-Ins

Was fine for 1 night. Was waiting on a walmart order that was supposed to come in, but it was 2 days late. On the second night, we got "the knock" and told us we had been here more than 24 hours and we needed to leave.

Report Check-In

Lots of other people parked overnight, spent 2 nights but on the second morning they were redoing the parking lot so a construction worked knocked on my door and asked if I could move to the other side of the parking lot. Great otherwise, quiet at night and perfect 5G with AT&T.

Report Check-In

Despite the “No overnight parking” signs, there were tons of people overnighting in the parking lot. I spent the last 2 nights here in my SUV along with several RVs, vans, trailers, trucks, and other cars.
One night I could smell the stinky smell people were mentioning when in the parking lot, but it was fine with my doors closed and windows rolled up. It’s sometimes loud like you would expect in a parking lot. I used ear plugs both nights.
I had a good Verizon signal the whole time.
I would stay here again if passing through.

Parked here overnight with no issues. I didn’t sign in or go to customer service. There are lots of other vehicles parked too.

Report Check-In

There are signs saying no overnight parking in back, but I did not see them before I asked customer service. CS said it’s totally fine to spend the night, and they asked me to fill in a log book with my contact info (probably for safety etc). I don’t think I would mark this place as closed. If they say it’s alright, then I consider it alright. Stayed overnight with no issues, and it’s actually quite a nice Walmart.

Report Check-In

Stayed one night at the back of the lot, some sirens throughout the night but peaceful otherwise. No one came knocking.
Nice clean bathrooms like always.

Report Check-In

Reasonably quiet night. About 10 RVs of various sizes and a dozen other car campers. No one bothered us. The signs are the city ordinance, not Walmart policy. So, there is always the possibility that the city could enforce it. For now it’s safe.

Report Check-In

Holy moly this place is overrun with campers. Looks like people parked in another lot across the street too. Literally RVs everywhere taking up tons of room instead of tucked away. ALSO there is no Subway here, so if you’re like me who gets in later and is pumped for some grub, NOPE. And it does reek of wastewater plant. Always appreciative of a Wally stay, but please people, leave some room? I think there’s another Walmart in Missoula, maybe it’s better

Report Check-In

Good place to overnight. Been in and out a bunch of times. There are lots of other rv, cars, vans. the only downside is the smell from the water treatment plant from time to time.

Report Check-In

As mentioned in another comment, it does smell quite bad outside. It was also quite noisy during the night (forklift moving containers at 1am). Otherwise fine, many other campers.

Report Check-In

Many different rigs, all sorts of shapes and sizes. No longer 24-hours, it closes at 11pm. Please be respectful and clean so we can continue to have this as an option!!

Report Check-In

saw a no overnight parking sign, but the lot is filled with vans & rvs. no problems staying here regardless

Report Check-In

Stayed 2 nights with no issue in my Transit van. Tons of RV’s parked for the night around us as well. Some guys even have their awnings out and a full patio set up

Report Check-In

What is this terrible smell??!! it smells like old cheese here! If you are planning to crack a window, you might reconsider.

Report Check-In

Popular overnight spot. Regular Walmart stuff. Nobody bothered me except a truck or RV that was filling my corner of the lot with exhaust fumes at 4AM.

Report Check-In

Lots of campers parked around perimeter of lot. Spent the night, all good.

Report Check-In

signs say no overnight parking but a 5th wheel was dropped with no truck? who knows. staying at cracker barrel instead.

Report Check-In

Parking lot has multiple signs stating overnight camping is not permitted by city ordinance.

Report Check-In

City ordinance says no overnight parking.

Report Check-In

No overnight signs are up but go inside and ask at customer service and sign the log-book. As many mentioned before, they allow it and decide what to do on their private property.

Report Check-In

There are several no camping and no overnight parking signs. But you can go to the customer service and sign a paper in order to be allowed to stay here.

Report Check-In

Tons of RV, campers and conversion Van's in the parking lot. Stayed 2 nights last week and staying 2 nights this week as we pass through. You can hear the road above. But it's not to bad.

Report Check-In

Stayed here for one night, were a few more vehicles where people slept in. Relatively quiet, perfect for a quick stop.

Report Check-In

There are signs posted that indicate no overnight parking per city ordinance. But we did not have issues parking for a night in a camper van.

Report Check-In

still a great spot to camp overnight. no need to check in. we called and asked to speak to a manager just in case and they told us that parking overnight in an RV is ok but they suggest getting out before 7am. we got up at around 6:30am and a ton of RVs were still there we left around 9am and were the first ones to leave.

it was pretty quite at night and there is a huge variety of rigs there from tent campers to huge class a band busses.

Report Check-In

Okay place for a night as we were passing through. Quieter than expected. Lots of other travelers (nothing like Whitehorse, Yukon though).

Report Check-In

I've stayed here for the past 4 nights. There's an additional parking lot to the west of the main parking lot and it's much quieter here. One employee hassled me about staying in this lot and said that I had to camp in the main lot. It is not posted so I ignored her and it's been fine. I think she's just a miserable person.
