Red mountain BLM land starts ~3.5 miles up Red mountain Access road. Currently there is a lot of road maintenance/tree work going on but we were able to go about 6 miles up and find a beautiful quiet pullout.
If you do venture up here please respect the land and peace- the silence is incredible up here.

I found a spot with a great view, a little less far up the road than the previous poster went. 1-2 bars ATT. So quiet and peaceful. The road has been recently maintained, but Prepare to spend extra time driving it, due to roughness, even though you don’t need 4wd
Report Check-InI followed the previous person's directions, but had to go a bit farther down the road. no difficulty on the road. Very quiet so far. Arrived around 5pm. saw 4 trucks going down the mtn, none
coming up. the view is obstructed by trees, but there's a little to see.
