This little Paradise is really a gem in Costa Rica! Erwin and his Wife running a New Ecolodge Hotel in the Cloudforest and let us camp in front of the House. very secure. Brother Henry lives on the property and will help you if you need something.
Very friendly and welcoming people. They have beatiful trails at the river and in the Cloudforest on their property. They will love to welcome more travellers and campers and want to build a campingplace with more amnenities soon. Street to here doable in every Car. Big Rigs no Problem. Saw a lot of beautiful Birds and Animals. Erwin knows a lot about them and showed us around. Better than every Nationalparc. they also offer beautiful Rooms with including meals if you ask. please do the phonecall before, Erwin speaks Englisch. we didnt,. the gate was closed, Henry talk to us in spanish, Phone Erwin and it wasnt possible because of an Event later on this Sunday and tomorrow. (could be true or not).
we want to turn the truck 300m further and decided to stay on the grassy place next to the dead end road. So quite, many birds.
the last 2 km to Erwins place is dirt road, narrow with potholes.
