Something not right?

Description

I first went to the marked free spot on the other side, but some poor guy had just drowned in the lake (flat calm water and no currents, he'd just gone in though he was unable to swim, according to bystanders) and it felt totally inappropriate to be there as the family were grieving, so I moved around to this side. Residents told me I was free to park wherever I liked; I found this spot just pulled over at the end of the road under some trees, just beyond the fish enclosures. Not as nice or spacious as the other end but very dark and quiet, and far enough from the party areas not to be disturbed even on a Saturday morning. it's narrow enough that big rigs might struggle to turn around at the end.

Restaurants with bathrooms etc available a few hundred metres down the road.

The lake is beautiful.

Latest Check-Ins

This place is beautiful but the road to go is unpaved and very steep : carefully for non-4x4 vans or RVs. Entrance to the place costs 20Q per car (see photo)
