Really nice little hostel in a beautiful landscape. Had a dormroom for only $10. Place is run by volunteers, that are very kind.

Super nice people at the staff .
Very quiet and beautiful landscapes .
11$ for dorm .
There is couple local restaurants around and a supermarket.
We’re pretty happy with this place! Still $27 for private room and bath. Great view, and the owner is very helpful and friendly. The kitchen is very clean with lots of pots and dishes for use. There’s a cute coffee shop nearby as well as several restaurants and a small grocery store. Shower is very cold but with good pressure. The WIFI is decent.
Report Check-Inamazing place for motocycls and backpackers. cold natural spring showers. clean rooms. beautiful vibes. private rooms for 27usd. best part is the scenerg
Report Check-In$11 dorm. I was desperate to get out of the rain and have a hot shower (it's pretty cold up here) and this did the trick. Lots of nice covered outdoor spaces to hang out and watch the rain and attempt to dry clothes
Report Check-InSuper friendly owner, spent i night here after crossing the CR border in Sixaola. $25 for a private room private bathroom for the 2 of us. Our motos stayed in the little road right outside, no issues. Stayed only 1 night, amazing views, great place to hang out, wish we had more time.
Report Check-InRelaxt owner. 10 dollar for a dorm bed and 20 dollar for a 2p private room. No internet at this moment. Also there were no other guests. It felt like this place has seen better times.
If you are lucky, you will have a magnificent view on the Barú volcano.
I don't know why this place has not better reviews. At least for cyclists it is a paradise. Wooden sort of chalet with a gorgeous view, hot shower, kitchen with everything you need, super friendly owner, free washing machine (but no dryer and it really takes forever to dry in these humid mountains), senderos closeby, way cheaper than anything around (8$), I had the place for myself for three days. I do recommend it a 100%.
Report Check-InIt's just a stop over spot when traveling through the mountains. Kind of expensive ($10) for what it is but it works
