What a beautiful spot to spend the night. We tried to get to the camping ground but the ferry that gets you there stops at 8pm so we spent the night in our van at the parking place. It was super quiet during the night and no signs say that you are not allowed to camp there.

didn’t make it to the parking for the trail to the waterfall at daylight, so we stayed here (self-contained motorhome, and we had emptied our tanks yesterday in San Martín). The chapel was open, but we didn’t see anyone whom we could have asked. Beautiful place, birds including some vultures, ducks, rabbits. No people. Perfect. Fantastic night sky.
