Beautiful-extremely quiet. Only heard one ATV in 2 days. This place also has wild Burros that date back 100 years during gold mining days. They leave you alone and so cool to see a few. Amazing mountains.

Really interested area with the rock formations and wild burros. Unfortunately the locals treat this entire area as their own personal dump and shooting range. I tried to camp here for a week and felt like I was living in a war zone before I just decided to leave. Picked up as much trash as I could but the area has just shrapnel and garbage everywhere.
Report Check-InBeautiful & very peaceful. A few polite ATVs over a few hours. Very restful.
Report Check-Inbeautiful mountain view and sunset. near route 68 but not to noisy. easy acces, no need to go really far on the road, there is a couple of spots with fire rig. it is a little bit trashy though. nice place for a night or two !
