Since there is no place to spend the night in Faranah we ended up just outside the city in the fields. No houses nearby but the people who work on the fields come by in the morning and evening. They invited us to visit their property and explained to us how the agriculture works in Guinee. We had a great time with them! If you sleep here pay them a visit, they would love that!
Also the internet connection is perfect here.

Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
We came through the gate and drove down to the wooden shed. "spot in nature", not sure since you are by the busy road and the water pump is running, loud.
We met the people of the place : the technician, the owner, the securityguard. All very nice and friendly.
Also, loads of bugs andn we heard gun shots not far at night.
We stayed there only one night, sure you can find better if you get around early.
