Sunny Dunes Road - BEHIND the Walmart. Many other vans, RVs and a few Semis up and down this block - Walmart security knocked around 1am and told us to move to the block behind Walmart. The Walmart owner no longer wants to allow parking overnight. A few other vans moving from the parking lot at the same time. Very few overnight spots in town it turns out.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.

Stayed one night. As mentioned on the nearby spot there is a loudspeaker at Walmart that goes off every time movement is detected. Unless 30 different people tried to rob the Walmart last night it is oversensitive and goes off randomly all night long. I recommend parking down the block away from the Walmart or a further street behind. On the other hand you can get the Walmart wifi at this spot. Not many cars come by but when they do they zoom by fast and close. The noise sucked but otherwise safe spot for the night with many other campers around.
Report Check-InStayed for a night on Sunny dunes behind the Walmart. Pretty nice spot with great views of the mountains. Quite a few other vehicles parked along the road so felt pretty safe. Only downside was cars driving down the road pretty fast.
