Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Great little place.. A few vehicles coming and going through out early evening. Felt quite safe and some beautiful views.
Report Check-InFollowed the road up the hill until we couldn’t go any further, (road was impassable with flooded ruts), then stayed one night there. If you continue walking out that road, it’ll lead you to a lighthouse, which if perfectly timed will give you a great photo if the CAT ferry passes by… unless the mosquitoes and feisty birds are still there, and they chase you back to your car when you attempt to explore… then you can just enjoy your view from inside your vehicle, like we did, haha. There’s a birds nest with two large birds occupying it, and I’m guessing there’s babies up there, as they’re VERY territorial. The mosquitoes were pretty thick, too, (I stepped out for 5 minutes to take pictures, and was savagely feasted upon). Best advice, park in the pull off area to the right just as you’re descending the hill. No clue if the bugs are any better, but at least you won’t get divebombed by frantic birds.
Report Check-InStayed here last night and it was an enjoyable experience. There were quite a few four-wheelers around here and there but no one bothered us and they didn't hang around for long.
