Camp is beautiful!! Stunning views over Lake Naivasha. Well worth the trip up. Under beautiful acacia trees with lots of lawn. Ablutions great, and has one of the best hot showers in Kenya.

We had zebra and buffalo hang around the camp at night which was exciting. Speak to camp staff if not used to wildlife in vicinity of camp.

Both Chris and James were so nice. They have some interesting projects, including hot steam capture and conversion, which James showed us and was really interesting to talk to about the area.

Road up in dry season was dirt/gravel and easy enough with one or two slightly steep gradients. We have a lower horse power diesel hilux and so we needed 4x4 every now and again just because we found engine struggles with the higher altitudes.

Contact Chris on Whatsapp on +254 716 195241 to book before you head to the camp. I think they might get busy on weekends so definitely worth checking availability in advance.

Just to clarify, its 1500 shillings pp for Kenyan residents but 30USD pp for the "others" (yes 30$ per person!). Just for camping. What a joke. Do foreigners take more space or use more hot water than people living in Kenya ? Dont know how nice this place is but the toilets seats must be made of gold for that price.
We just messaged the guy in charge before showing up and thank god we did !
30$ pppn is THE ultimate muzungu repellent.
Good luck with your business and enjoy your Kenyan visitors.

This is a very beautiful campsite near Eburru Forest in Naivasha.
How to get there: You will need a car with proper ground clearance. During the rainy season you will definitely need a 4x4 with locking diffs as there is a part of the road that is treacherous when muddy.
The host, Chris will give you a very detailed route to access the premises.
You need to make a reservation in advance. You can email Chris on [email protected]
Costs: The basic camping fee is 1,500/- per person per night. This is primarily for the self-sufficient people with their own shade and camp furniture.
Facilities: The campsite has a number of options to choose from. The camp has the cleanest toilets you will see in any campsite in Kenya. They also have nice hot showers.
While there is no kitchen, you can get a shade, a table and an bench to use while camping. These cost a small extra fee.
You can also get firewood and a firepit at the campsite.
There is a dustbin provided but you are encouraged to go away with your waste.
Water is also provided on site. You can clean your dishes with hot water at the designated area.
For those who do not have camping equipment of would prefer to travel light, you can hire tents at the site.
What to expect: Very very cold evenings and early mornings, great views, wildlife (especially buffalos), a very active host who keeps checking on you and advising on general matters at and around the camp.

Superb campsite with the best washroom facilities we've seen in Kenya. Spacious campsite, that is free of music. Wonderful views over Lake Naivasha. Truly helpful staff who will guide you on walks around the estate. Check out their informative website for more details. New facilities are being developed all the time. If you do visit, ask for directions from the highway, as Google maps leads you to a dead-end.
