Description

Beautiful spot 10 miles from Port Lavaca on the Texas Gulf coast. Reasonable stay limits, public toilets and cold rinse shower. Great spot to overnight between Port Aransas and Matagorda Island. First come first serve. Arrive early to get a spot as this place has become popular with RV/ van lifers and fishermen.

Less crowded than Magnolia Beach. Washroom across the way is fairly new and kept clean. Small beach right outside the door.

Nice camp location space for aprox 30 + rigs. Right next to the water. ***Brand new bathrooms onsite, super clean 😉

we didn't found the restrooms. the restroomhouse on the other side of the street is gone. But there are restrooms on magnolia beach.

Quaint roadside tables at bayside. Less crowded than Magnolia Beach nearby. They should call it bayside park because there is no beach to speak of. Still a great place to overnight right on the gulf coast! Restrooms are atrocious with no toilet paper but most vans are self contained anyways. No showers.

We were looking for Magnolia Beach but stopped here instead. We're parking by the picnic table structures, hope this is the correct place for camping. only a few other RVs and a van at the moment.

Stayed 3 days at Magnolia Beach before moving down here. The water is clearer, there are picnic tables and Grills at each site steps away from where you park. Better fishing here and No worries about tides or storms .. very peaceful.
