Fazenda Sengha Country Club | Informal Campsite

Basically a parking lot. Can be noisy.
But very friendly and helpfull staff, WiFi available close to reception. Hot shower with good pressure.
We ordered something from the restaurant which we got brought to our truck.
Place is about 8-9 km away from downtown city and 11km from the Genocide Memorial. We took Boda-Bodas to go there. It's 1500-2000 one way pp.
Parking is still 10K pppn.

We camped in the car park. Not the best but if you need a place for one night it's okay. Best to arrive late and leave early if you want a bit of calm.
Was busy and noisy until 20h after was okay. Private toilet and shower for camper. Very hot shower with good pressure.

Okay for 1 night but for 10k pp, it's very very expensive for a dusty noisy barely flat crowded parking lot.
How can people come here and not complain about the price is a mystery...
Toilets are really far away. Plenty of lazy people from the staff doing nothing but staring at us all of the time... In the morning they start cleaning the bathrooms at 7:30ich and they taaaaaaake their time. Loud music until 9pm when we were there. "Activities" are also very expensive like zipline, donkey/horse riding etc... If you have kids with you and a lot of cash to spend I guess it could be somehow fun...
Watertap (sink) access near the horse stable with good pressure and clean water, its an okay walk (~100 m) from the parking if you have jerricans.
Only good points : friendly dogs around and fresh at night. Would never come back here unless someone is pointing a gun at me.

Great camping in the parking space for 10.000 ppn. It’s a fun place to go to during the day with a lot of activities to do.

Restaurant had good food until 18:00 because the facility closes at 18:00. We could get sandwiches and drinks after that time.

In the morning fresh crêpes at the crêperie.

The night watcher was very friendly and offered to make a fire.

Owner is very active and came in to check in on us a few times and wants to make a actual camp as she likes to make this a place accessible for overlanders. She even bought hooks to use on the shower.

Showers and toilets are great, hot water and a lot of pressure.

Edit: if you have kids this is a must stop in a Kigali. If you don’t have kids it’s also a must stop as the people are so friendly and it’s great for hiking and exploring the city.

Lovely views and peaceful at night. The staff are all really accommodating and friendly. $10pppn. The bottom carpark area is mostly flat and private but pretty far from toilet area. Toilets are clean and modern, with shower room (hot) they'll unlock for you. Bar and restaurant with decent food and fresh juices etc. It's a huge area with lots of activities you can do (paid), horses to pat and ride (well cared for!) and seating areas. I believe you can use their bbqs to cook and you're more than welcome to bring/eat your own food- even in the restaurant area! Beware if you're here on a weekend - the carpark area will get absolutely full most of the day and tons of people coming and going!!

On weekends very busy. At night very quiet. Good place to visit Kigali.

A nice place 25 mins outside Kigali. It's a leisure club with horse riding, donkeys, zipping and other activities. A nice bar and restaurant area and clean and smart toilets with a shower room. We chose to park down the bottom of the area as it was nice and flat and private, a bit of a walk back to the toilets and showers but good for us! You can hike around Kigali mountain. The staff were all really welcoming and friendly, we had a huge firepit made for us in the evening and a very peaceful night. I enjoyed watching people having riding lessons during the day too. Great views down from the mountain. 10 USD pppn. We will stay again on our way back out of Rwanda

Country club that is open during the day for activities such as donkey and horse rides, zip lining and paintball. Busy with families and day guests. Nice atmosphere. Has a bar and restaurant.

Not set up as a campsite but has a large flat carpark out of the way of the main activity areas so some privacy. Opened a shower for us to use and cleaned it between each use. Quiet at night as the place closes around 7pm. Security present overnight and offered to light a campfire for us.

The staff are very friendly, they even brought in our washing when it rained and we were out.

This location really is amazing.
The staff is helpful with everything and you can do a lot of activities there like horse riding, quad biking, zip lining.
It's a very good price for what they offer you.

Beautiful place in Kigali on the area of the country club. We could park our cars on a wide open area.
We were allowed to use their toilets and showers.
People are very friendly and helpful with everything.
We stayed at this beautiful place for two days and really enjoyed it very much.
Payed 10.000 Rwf per person.
At night there is a security.
Can highly recommend 👌
