As mentioned, meticulous work, Marco and the team are excellent and really knowledgeable. Marco explained to us, every single thing he and the team were finding along the check, which is very welcoming and comforting. We understand our van much more and its behaviour thanks to them and their explanations!

No auxiliary batteries for a few weeks or incomplete and very slow charging. Marco and his guys spent hours checking the entire circuit and testing all the connections, checking the correct operation of the inputs and outputs of the electrical relay to find the fault, which they did. Rigorous, meticulous work. A boss and a team of mechanics as friendly as they are serious.

The best and most dedicated mechanic in Bolivia. They have dealt with large diesel trucks of the electrical companies of Bolivia for over thirty years and are therefore experts on diesel vehicles and engines. He also has a great number of parts easily available. And if not, he can order them from Santa Cruz. Don’t hesitate because it is a bit out of the centre of Sucre, definitely worth it.

Marco Antonio is a very friendly guy and worked through his holiday with his team to fix the engine of our van in only two days, after several other mechanics found it to complex. He cleaned the injectors, adjusted the valves, calibrated the diesel pump for the altitude, and more. He did so for a very reasonable price.

Marco was also in contact with Guillermo for us, the best mechanic in Salta (see the iOverlander entry there). With these two mechanics covering this stretch of your trip you can feel very secure.
