Description
la leña Campestre is a restaurant open until 6pm. as we went there, owner let us stay for free (as soon as you consulate in restaurant) for the night and use bathroom.
place is guarded at night, there is wifi and electricity. owner accepted that we add this place on ioverlander, but doesn't want to transform his restaurant in camping. therefore, he is welcoming only camper van (no tent allowed). we didn't ask for big rigs.
perfect stop before going to the delta del estero for example.

Great place to rest after crossing the border from Honduras. A lot of trees and shade, we ate at the restaurant (mostly meat) and the owner did not want us to pay for the night. The guard opened us a room to take a bucket shower. Very nice and friendly people. The only thing is that the music is all day long🤪
