Description
Went to do some wild camping in the sanctuary, was informed by a park ranger that camping deep in the park isn't recommended because it's too remote and could be unsafe. redirected us to some options close to the game warden office that would be watched by a security guard all night. we could either go in some grass roof gazebos (one on the beach of the lagoon, one more in the woods) or a cabin where we would be able to charge our phones; all for FREE. we opted for the beach gazebo where we set up or hammocks. The sea breeze and view were amazing. the park ranger was so welcoming and generous. there are restaurants nearby if wanted but we brought our own food. highly recommend
