There is room for a single vehicle to get level and park at the end of the road along the walking trail to Las Gachas. We asked the small tienda and the closest house if it was ok to park there and they said it was ok. We spent two nights here. We are in a truck camper and it was pretty tight to turn around, so would not recommend anything larger.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Stayed here for one night in our campervan (3.5 ton, 2WD front, 6m long).
I can not fully recommend:
- To get to the spot is possible, but it has a few challenges (narrow sections, steep, washed out) and no chance to turn around before getting to the spot.
- The spot is in front of a house, which also offers paid parking. So, the situation is a bit awkward.
- There are 4 to 5 dogs at the house, which kept barking during the whole night.
