Nice museum, owned and run by the great-grandson of one of the founders of Bella Vista. A lot of history crammed into a large barn, the owner, Ernesto Fischer, speaks Spanish and German, and knows a lot about the history. Definitely worth a visit. Monday - Saturday 7 - 11:30 am and 1:30 - 6 pm, Sunday 1:30 - 6:00 pm. Entry 20.000 GS locals, 30.000 GS foreigners.

In my opinion this is a very authentic museum, where one can learn about the history of the Germans in Paraguay (Bella Vista) and get to see very old, traditional items from Germany and elsewhere. Ernesto (the owner) is highly passionate about his museum.
That is also why I call the responsible board of tourism of Paraguay to please support this unique place!
Otherwise it will be extinguished and an important part of the history of Paraguay disappears!
