Amazing place. Good food, perfect campsite! Just update in the prices. To us they charged 15$ which was with the exchange rate 2100KES.

FYI, its 1500 pppn. We didnt stay there as the camp was closed until mid October for renovation. We confirmed the rate by WhatsApp with the owner.

Nice camp away from the farm. Richard the caretaker is very helpful. We had a gamedrive in the morning and enjoyed so much. Richard prepared a large campfire and also hot water for the bucket shower. They’re 2 fixed tents you can use to n case of rain. At night there is always a guard in n the camp. Please advise your coming so they can prepare the campsite (water, fire etc.) We was late and was directed from the worker’s at the farm to the campsite. Later on Richard arrived and make the preparations. Very quiet place to enjoy the bush.

They are making their best for you to feel good
The only is we found it quiet expensive in general and as you are not allowed to go around on your own we felt a bit forced to pay for an activity

We really enjoyed our stay at Ol Maisor. Half of our group was camping and the other half rented a safari tent. The safari tent had two good beds with great matrasses. They also put down a large table and plates, mugs, utensils etc. There was always a staff member nearby to prepare the shower, fire or do the dishes. At night there is a security guard nearby. During the day there is a guide/ranger who takes you on bushwalks or joins you on a game drive. Very knowledgeable and humble guy. On the farm there are elephants, buffalo's, giraffes and lions to name a few. We had elephants passing the camp and a leopard barking all morning. Camp is with plenty of shade and space. Their concept is that they provide you with an exclusive campsite, so no sharing with others.

On the farm they have also search dogs and you can get an explanation (and demo) on how the team operates. Surprisingly that was very interesting to hear and the kids loved to play with the dogs. Our intention was to stay 2 nights but as you can imagine we stayed longer.

Fantastic camp. What a treat for Overlanders! Flat grassed area, loads of shade. Low key but well looked after, with discreet security and staff who manage the communal fire and hot shower. Elephants and zebra at night with the sound of lions overnight. Good value and well worth the visit.

The best camping in Kenya!
Organised, with all the small details, clean and beautiful.
We came for one night on our way but want to stay few days.

The Garden Camp at Ol Maisor is the perfect stop over. With large ngiliriti acacias to pitch under and in a secure fully fenced compound near our main gate.
We also have a guide available on request who can take you to explore and see some of our beautiful wildlife.
