Campground in the mountains with a view of the Pacific. Calm, safe and beautiful. 15 minute drive to the ocean. Very friendly staff that will take you for a jungle horse ride and make you tacos or burgers if you ask.

Lots of animals like turkeys, bunnies and goats.

Great spot!

What a beautiful place. It is a great ‘break’ from the coast and everything that you (or we) want as an overlander: lots of space, no reservations needed, shower (could be a bit warmer), dump stations, safety, electricity, water, great hiking and the rock paintings nearby. The care taker and the owners are very friendly and will help you with everything you need. They gave us lots of fruits from their huge rancho. You can order food if you like and also use their kitchen if needed. There is a common area (can use a bit of an upgrade), hammocks and possibility to make a fire. And all that for only 300 pesos per night.

Can also accommodate bigger rigs. They also have horseback riding and even vehicle storage available.

Superb spot surrounded by nature with ocean view. Safe. The owner, Nacho and his son Nacho Jr. are very welcoming. 4G Telcel, toilets, showers, electricity and water available.
Just the sound of crickets at night.
If you are looking for a place far from the loud and touristic location you want spend here few days.
You gonna love it.

Great quiet place with a lot of spots. Currently there is nobody else here. We already had some turkeys coming around. We are going to stay for one night, 300 pesos per night. Too many mosquitoes and bigger flying insects.

It is a very big ranch with more than 70 camping places, in the shade or in the sun. It's perfect for being quiet. The owners, Susy and Nacho are very helpful and accommodating; the family that runs the ranch, Luis and Jazmin are also very caring and offered me organic fruits from the ranch. In 15 minutes walk you can go to the sacred site of Wixarika natives and you can also see magnificent petroglyphs. From the ranch you can also descend into the canyon and walk along the river to the thermal baths. There are toilets and a shower with hot water in the ranch. A spectacular view of the ocean and the sunset. No Wifi but good Telcel reception. The night costs 300 pesos negotiable. I spent 10 extraordinary days, far from the tumult of civilization, surrounded by turkeys, rabbits, ducks, chickens, dogs, horses and donkeys. All these beautiful people live in freedom and in harmony.
