We wanted to come there on a saturday afternoon. The parking was full and the man at the gate told us to come back at 8pm. But there is no place at all around to park, and we were told the area is not safe, especially outside weekends. We left Mexico immediately because we could not find a place to stay with out RV.

This parking lot is optimal for a city visit. More or less central, quiet at night and secure. We felt us really good here for 3 days.
But you should know:
They don't allow RVs with a bigger size (ours 18 tons, MAN truck) to park here anymore, because the lot is so full with Mexicans and they need the place. We discussed 30 Min. and with 3 hierarchy levels. In the end it worked, but I guess it was also a bit of luck. Or bad luck with the initial person. ;-)

Safe, quiet but really overpriced (a tourist bus will pay 108 for 24 hours, campers have to pay 216, and the time counts from 0:00 to 23:59, witch means you have to pay 432 for a night).

i think is the better place for stay in Mexico City!
But don’t have facilities!
We pay 216 pesos for day, and not for night.

Had a very weird experience trying to park here. We explained we wanted to stay one night, they said it would be 216mxn to stay until the next day. We paid and parked up. 20 mins later the parking guard came again and asked us to pay again.
Apparently he made a mistake. We said ok, we'll leave as almost 450 pesos for 12 hours of parking is pretty steep. We asked for a refund and he wouldn't refund us. After he called his supervisor and we explained the situation (I heard him lying to his supervisor about what happened) we got a refund. When we were leaving some other guy came up, blocked us with his motorcycle from leaving and was aggressively asking for money. In the end we paid to get out.

Gorgeous park! I'm in a 22ft C Class and needed to enter the parking lot through the exit gate arm to be able to fit. Once inside the gate, there is a ton of room.

If you accidentally pass the lot entrance, it's an 8 minute, one-way loop to get back. Guards are very nice. A lot of off leash, well behaved (owned) dogs in the park. Some highway noise but expected in the city and it's not bothersome. $216 mxn/day. Bathrooms were very clean but there are only two stalls and they get very busy during the day. Many trash/recycling receptacles available.

No shade and they asked me to close my big awning despite the parking lot being empty near me but I quickly obliged. They want the overlanders parked next to each other so you'll need to be considerate of your close neighbors. Great place to stay!

Highly recommend La Dirty Lavaropa y Chisme for pickup/delivery laundry service to the parking lot! $30 mxn/kg + $50 delivery fee.

Parking calme, au milieu d'un parc, proche d'un petit lac. 216 pesos la nuit. Sécurité 24/24. parfais pour visiter Mexico. Météo Auditorio à 15mn de marche. Les employés sont très serviables et sympathiques.

Large parking lot. Lots of other Ioverlanders. Guarded 24/7, very friendly staff. Baños 6 pesos. Quiet. Felt very safe.
Price is now 216 pesos for a vehicle. You pay from midnight till midnight, which kinda sucks...What we did to get more bang for our buck, we stayed there 2 nights and 1 full day. Got there on Thursday at 6pm and left at 10pm Saturday(can't drive saturdays before 10pm with a foreign car) and parked nearby in Polanco for 2 nights for free as it was a weekend and a holiday.

We stayed here for 5 nights. There where other vans and it was really quiet at night. We felt very safe and there is 24/7 security. Friendly people. It gets busy during the weekend with Mexicans who are visiting the park, but it quiets down after 5pm. Would definitely stay here again! 200 pesos per night and the toilet is 6 pesos (open until 10pm).
