A place to go on Canal Street if needed, stayed overnight here once, didn't have any problems but does have that sketchiness to it

Came here to park for the day. Looked like another traveller too in front of us, and an overlander off on a side road. Spoke to a local on Iberville Street around the corner and he stated he has parked various vehicles for weeks on the side roads and never been bothered by cops or trouble makers.
It’s a bit too sketch for me to want to sleep there though.
