Arrived at nightfall on Friday. At 8 pm a state parks officer (the kind with the smoky bear hat) came by to tell us we had to leave because he was closing up. So we left.
The pit toilet was very clean.
Signs indicated the trail was closed through 2024.
Stayed here for one night with no issues maybe because it is off season. Notice stating that barrier will be lowered at 5pm but no one came. Nice walk along trail.
Report Check-InQuiet with very little background noise. Nearby roads have an occasional vehicle. Considering the sparseness of the area I highly recommend!
Report Check-Instayed one night. no one bothered me.. alot of houses close by. but this area is hard to find spots- so I'll take what I can get
Report Check-InThis is not a place to stay overnight. Ran into the ranger he was kind enough to let us stay since it was late.
Report Check-InGood sized parking lot with good cell service clean pit toilet and beautiful trail. no parking restriction signs or online. Right on the corner of 2 not very busy roads. was all quiet until Mr Rooster started carrying on, he's a big fella too!!
