El Mirador de La Guardia | Warning

do not sleep here at night!!!
im writing this at 03:44am at the police station of the town. at 10:00 one men came to tell us the gate of the mirador closed at 02:00am, that we can sleep here and if we had trouble to came ask him. at 02:00am he wake up us with tzp other guys with guns, pretending to be cops, asking us to open the door of our van. we have an old truck of french army so very high. the side door and the door on the back wasnt closed so they pointed their gun from behind and by the side door. they wanted us to let them came inside the van and wanted our identity papers. we were pushing them out of the car while refusing to gave them our papers. finally i managed to closed the door and my husband jump to drive. the mirador is one way in so we had to drive back. we got stuck in the mud but managed to leave..... the police told us its a dangerous place where multiple incident happens. the police was super nice i recommend the police in this town if you have a problem
so please do yourself a favor and drive far away from this mirador

beautiful place, however about 2000 military came, put their gun in our face and told us to leave that it is dangerous there. didn't do anything else to us. didn't feel it was dangerous there. we were only people there but we left

big flat ground but the trees are surrounding it - so there is no shade on the space where one can park (small tents might find a spot under the trees). we didn't slept here but the view was great.
