In front of a small blue pavilion on a grassy pit next to the sea. It belongs to a hotel (green) across the street. We asked them and they had no problems parking us here.
Locals said if they would mind we should park 5 meters further inside the public park (soccer field).
Great breeze, no bugs, 3 meters from the sea. Very quiet and safe.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
free public park, quiet place in dangriga, fresh breeze, some locals until 7 PM, lighting at night, during the day lonely and silent, opposite a tourist office and a hotel.
Arrived late at night, around 10PM. Place looked calm and safe. Stayed behind the blue pavilion, right by the water.
Report Check-InGreat place in middle of town. The place is owned by the guy who runs the bluish hotel in the back. He just came to say hello- that’s all.
But when you go there talk to the lady in the green house. She is so sweet, and loves speaking to foreigners. We ended up camping on her property.
Cool spot, nice town, no tourists, normal prices for Belize.
Seguro y tranquilo.
in our opinion the best place in the city since it is the only one that runs quite fresh wind. We spent two nights in this place. Safe and calm
Report Check-InStayed for 1 night here - parked behind the small blue pavilion and we were out of the main sight so not bothered at all - just a couple of coconut vendors in the evening.
Asked the lovely couple in the green house next door if they minded and they said no problem parking here - and that it's also very safe.
Amazing view with the sea right outside - only problem is there is no shade here. In the evening with a light breeze it was OK but wind died down during the night.
Lots of sand flies at dawn that came through our mosquito net, and super hot in the car by 6.30/7 am. Had to get up and move elsewhere to get some shade...
Was fine for the night, very quiet town. A man came by to connect to the hotel’s wifi then left. Very friendly people. Free
Report Check-InNice place at the sea. We had a quiet night, even Saturdays. Felt really safe. No facilities.
Report Check-InWe parked in the soccer field in front if the sea. Nice and quiet on a Thursday night. We went to the police to tell them we would stay there and they said there was no problem and we could take water (non portable) from the outside pipe of there building. Some people came see us to say hi. Nice and friendly vibe. The town is nice is you look for local ambiance far from touristic paths.
