Set up camp here and a sheriff came by just before sunset to let us know overnight camping is not allowed. He said a law was passed last week against this.

It was a wonderful spot, but Camping no longer allowed. Sheriff came this afternoon to give me a warning, took my driver licence info. Can stay for the day only.

Best camp spot!!! Free!!!
A level, clear patch of grass with perfectly spaced palm trees right next to the berm that leads to the ocean. The drive in is on packed sand that anyone can drive. There’s spots with tables with water spigots that work. Several overnight campers here, all quiet and keeping to themselves peacefully, some day use people coming and going, and horseback riding companies utilizing the same area.
All safe, happy, and gracious. There’s trash cans throughout the beach and park across the road. Free, unlimited, private shower w locking door, air-temp water w great pressure at the park just behind us campers. Felt totally safe to relax and enjoy.
The beach is definitely dog-friendly. Some on leash, some off. Everyone all respectful. Definitely not touristy. This is BY FAR one of my favorite finds along all of my travels!!!!!

Great place to stay over night. We had a campfire near our spot for the night. There are quite a few picnic tables to use. There is a spot to get water to fill up tanks which was awesome.

This place is a quiet little peace and paradise. It has a shower, bathrooms, and water for your convenience. Local store down the street and just that quiet beach life. Dogs are allowed on the beach with a leash. I'm definitely coming back when in this area.

Excellent stay, right off the beach, quiet. Walked across street to park, along bay saw a bald eagle

Great little place between road and the beach. Clean restrooms, shower, covered picnic tables, and water at but a handful or less of spots. Room for more folks though to park without the tables n water. Beautiful beach! Dog friendly.

This spot was perfect, right on the beach and very secluded. We found a water spicket by one of the dunes and there’s also a bathhouse if you need that. Highly recommend!
