Description

Small but very cozy and in an absolutely chilled neighborhood! There is space for one vehicle (max. length of 5.25m, big rigs would only be able to park safely in front of the gate), a couple of tents and there is also one room with a double bed available for travelers. The bathroom for guests has a really nice shower with good pressure. There are lots of really nice Maquis and little shops around. Just next door is a bar with street-price beer.

For us, it was a great option to stay close to Abidjan and enjoy many interesting talks about travelling with Chloe and and her son Patrick.
We've been treated like family, even by the dogs ;) Chloe had so much helpful travelling advice for us. we will leave with lots of excitement of what's about to come.

I was here today however there were no free rooms and hence I had to look for other places. Not a reliable option in grand bassam since you don't have the phone number to reserve your room and then when you reach the place and find out it is full you kind of feel frustrated. Anyways I found something close to this place called auberge du comte and it was okay for my budget

Great place to stay in Grand Bassam. Conviently close to Abidijan.
We parked our landrover with roof top tent in the compound. Nice and flat. Slept really well.
We were welcomed by Chloe and son Patrick and also two fantastic dogs. Great to discuss travelling with Chloe.

It was great staying with Chloe. She is such a lovely lady with a never-ending knowledge of Côted'Ivoire and West Africa. The room is basic with a fan. The location is good with a few eating options around. It's not that close to the centre but this may be an advantage. It is very easy and cheap to get a shared taxi to anywhere in Grand Bassam.
You will also meet Patrick, Chloe's son who is a cute and smart boy! The dogs are also so cute!
Thanks Chloe!

We loved our stay here. Chloe and her son Patrick are great hosts! We had lots of great chats in the evenings. Chloe has an enormous knowledge of the region and gave us great tips of where to go, what to visit, budget accomodations etc.
Highly recommend staying here. We paid 10000 cfa/ night for two people. It’s a fan room and a big private bathroom with cold shower.
Grand Bassam is a very interesting place, we planned on staying for a night or two and ended up extending to four nights.
