Mexico
Vacant lot next to the liquor store, right off the malecon. Plenty of room for several vehicles, even a bigger motorhome or 5th wheel rig or two.
There is a guy, Andres, who informally looks after the area. Great guy. He’ll probably come over and say hi. He was more than happy for me to park up for the night. He’ll look after your rig while you’re away as well. Please give him a propina (tip).
Check out the restaurant El Calaron a couple doors down. Excellent seafood at very good prices, with ocean views. Listing on ioverlander.

I didn’t attempt to stay here, just happened to walk by today, so take it for what you will — but it appeared that most or all of this lot has been purchased and has an “under development” sign. Most of it is fenced off and part of it in the back has active construction, so personally I’d be a little doubtful of being able to park there. There were a couple vans on the street parking out front though, on the malecón.
