good nights sleep. another rv and a couple of pickups with trailers were there as well.

You cannot stay at the Walmart/Destin as Walmart does not own the land (as told by a local homeless guy). He recommended this Walmart as there is absolutely no overnight parking anywhere in Destin for boon-docking. He says he lives there 😕 We got lucky and found a campground (not cheap at all). If your military or former military there is a campground with a reasonable rate and great spot if you have bikes. Destin has made it so you can’t do anything after midnight to 7am.

Besides all the males driving around the parking lot with their mufflers disconnected and their music blasting there were no incidents. The noisy males continued thru most of the night. We stayed a couple of nights with other RVs and semi trucks.

I'm doubting the last post. It's 9pm and there are several vans/RVs/18ers that seem to be set up for the night. No signs against overnighting although I didn't check with mgmt. Will update if I get a knock :-)

Called ahead to see if they allowed overnight parking. They said there is a city ordinance that does not allow this and vehicles overnighting in the parking lot will be towed.
