The village is close by and villagers collect water from the river here. We camped close to the fence on the downstream side of the area and had a great night.

Thanks to this marker, we decided to check it out and stayed for the night. Beautiful spot by the river.
Hippos in the water and locals washing their clothes nearby. Friendly children came to say hi.
I created a new check-in place marked now as wild camping spot.

Informal picnic spot between villages next to the river, very beautiful, nice to get off the tar!
