at the mark there is nowhere to park, but drove down the road another 5 mins and found nice semi-private pull out.
weak Telcel 3g, 1-2 bars, open sky for Starlink. noise all night long from the highway, and since it's a mountain road trucks use lower gear or engine brake, so really loud
nevertheless slept well and it's safe
Stayed here for one night. Very nice location, and there's a lady by the entrance to the road who cooks very good stews and tortillas - would recommend. She said camping anywhere along the road is ok.
