Description

Blue hotel and restaurant on the river mouth. Breakfast, lunch and dinner served - seafood is excellent. Popular with local surfers, expat community and Lomé-dwellers at the weekend. Owned by a famous Togolese singer (Afia Mala) and her sister. It's a beautiful, blue, calm place with great sunsets and a cool breeze.

Rooms from 12000 or camping 3000 per person with access to good showers and clean toilets.

Also have surfboards to rent and offer a great boat trip up the river if you want to learn a lot about the local area and voodoo. Nick (manager) is absolutely wonderful and is a treasure trove of stories and local info. Has lived many lives in different parts of Africa. He offers a warm welcome to overlanders (and everyone else)!

This place is honestly quite terrible if you are an overlander. Only parking is right on a VERY busy street with a loud bar next door. Paid 2.5k per person to use the bar toilet and shower outside at the beach. I am blown away that anyone would say this is their favorite spot in West Africa. If you have a ground tent, it looks marginally better (still by the bar and busy road, but then you have a small half wall between you and the road. You can definitely do better. Parking security was around at 1500 when we showed up, but by 2000 they were all gone.

Is a good location for overlanders Eating is good. I have ask for a place for a tent. The owner Nick say it’s ok. We talking a lot he drive a BMW 1200 GS adventure. Next day we can go in a Room for take a shower.
3000 Cefa is a friendly price for a tent on a sandy beach.

Great place to stop and chill for a while. Clean tidy and English Nick is a fantastic host. Highly recommended this place. Cool drinks, lovely food, cool breeze and on waters edge. Security looked after our bikes and we could set up tents at one end. Probably the best place in West Africa so far.

Not possible to camp, asked at the reception. At that time rooms started from 22500 FCFA.

Camping is not an option, also not as overlander. Beautiful restaurant!

we came back here for a sweet surf and found out there is now camping available (I can't work out how to change it on here) but it's 3000 cfa per person and you have access to showers and toilets, the dream!
